• kasar  Devi is small village having 8 km from Almora district in Uttarakhand. 
• It is on Bageshwar-Almora highway route.
• Kasar Devi temple is on the top of the ridge in upward direction from the road.
• The kasar devi temple came into existence in 2 century which is built by katyuri ruler.
• In 1948 it was renovated by Birla family.

The weather remains cool here everytime. In summere temperature goes up by 28- 30 degree.
