Painted sheltered Cave in Barechhina village of India
The Lakhudiyar caves are man made painted rock shelters made in prehistoric time showing culture habitat and art skills of that time period by painting on rocks. That time people were unaware of reading and writing techniques and used symbols as a language. The meaning of the Lakh Udiyar is Lakh-caves.
This is 20 km away from the Alomra time in Barechina village .This site is famous for its rock paintings .It is located on road side on the banks of the Suyal river.
The river plays an important role for any habitat because of the source of the water. You have to go upside from the road to reach this site.
Some human, animals and geometric forms can be seen there. The caves are surrounded by the long pine trees giving you the taste of the natural habitat there.
